Spring Break, Spring Fever, Spring Forward

19 Mar

It seems as though the Universe wants to put a spring in my step!  I think I’m ok with that plan.  My Spring Break consisted of grading 76 research papers over 5 days, 2 movies, 3 days of coaching a dance camp, uploading a ton of work that I’ve been behind on for my final Undergraduate class, sending off the final payment for the school in Prague, purposefully not planning my graduation party, 1 band, 1 cake, and a beer on St. Patty’s day.  I’d say that’s one full Spring Break!

School starts tomorrow and I should be in bed.  8 minutes til ten.  I should be asleep.  I just wanted to put out there to the Universe that I am springing forward with enthusiasm.  I had a great Spring Break.  Spring brought my pretty flowers out to play in the front yard and new opportunities.

I was able to visit with my wonderful friend Leyla today.  She’s so encouraging in everything I do.  I love my wonderful girlfriends.  I wouldn’t have survived without them all these years.  I think I’m going to start teaching Belly Dancing this summer.  The idea makes me so happy!  My dance girls have really helped me see how much more I can do than I thought.  I have Spring Fever and I’m feeling pretty happy about it 🙂
