A couple photos

26 Mar

I recently went on a really nice scooter ride into the mountains here.   I am acquiring scooter driving merit badges by the dozen!  Driving with a passenger, tight spaces driving, night driving, night mountain driving, curvy mountain road driving, uphill with a passenger driving, able to avoid idiots turning right from the left side driving, using the horn through an intersection, 0-50 in the length of an intersection, group driving, carrying a bag full of stuff while driving, balancing a bunch of stuff between my feet driving, yelling at other drivers while driving, not wrecking after seeing a dog lunge at the scooter in front of me….  See loads of badges need to get created!

ANYway, here’s some photos of the latest adventure.

Pretty Koi fish are in every water garden here,  they are amazing.IMG_9956

The water garden at the restaurant was really pretty.  The food was very good and the price was very reasonable.  We had fish, chicken, and beef sets. I forgot to take pictures of the food, but it was very good.

Some pictures from the drive up.  It was a good day.  The weather was perfect for hot springs!IMG_9948 IMG_9947 IMG_9940 IMG_9928 IMG_9921 IMG_9916 IMG_9914 IMG_9901

It was a really nice day with some very good company.  We finished it off at Titty Tea’s, a local expat hangout.  There was some live music and good food.
